Cant elaborate much on what Bux said....except that the EVRC first showed up in the MSM2310 and is also a feature on the MSM3000. Most phones out now should incorporate it. Not sure if the networks need to do anything to turn it "on". PCS estimated a 60% improvement in capacity from just this improvement. Slacker
