Dave,

I have spent the last couple of years trying to learn how to trade the markets. I have been exposed to a lot of information.

Last summer, I remember seeing Tom Dorsey on CNBC saying that this was not a good time to be in the market. The market then corrected significantly.

I remember Options Jerry talking in October about how P&F indicators had reversed and that this was a good buying opportunity. It was after the bottom had been made, but in plenty of time to take advantage of the big move up.

I remember hearing about Tom Dorsey recommending the drillers when they were in the toilet, look at the move they have made.

So I bought the Point and Figure book (check one of the threads for the exact title). I read the book, and was impressed with how simple the concepts are, and how historically, this method works so well.

I subsequently bought a $25 monthly subscription to the DWA site, which is the best bargain on the internet.

Then there are great piffers on these threads who know far more than I do who are very instructional.

I would recommend that you buy the book, read it, follow the threads, think about joining the DWA site. It will really open your eyes on market trends.

Hope this answers your question,

Best wishes always,

David
