We haven't had anything to report on Anvil for a long time but HHappy and Sam have pooled their sources and HHappy posted the following on SH which reflects our sentiments completely
"If , as and when ,Anvil ever gets around to letting shareholders know what is happening their report
will show that the independent geologist employed at the request of the ASE will have reported a
HUGE reserve of natural gas discovered by the first well drilling [as I have always said].Now if they
can only stop being greedy and just drill wells and let them flow naturally we will have a great money
making field.Suspect they will drill two other wells.First one to around 6 thousand ft, second ,deeper
[perhaps 10,000ft.] They will then go back to first well and try an offset to Zones they know have
gas but settle for what is there rather than frac and chance screwing up on that flow. They had to
keep first well on stream even if they are losing money in order to keep their rights to the surrounding
area.
In the long run , and in spite of themselves, we will have a successful field developed.Too bad we
have had to wait so long and so many shareholders got hurt along the way.Management has to take
the blame for that whether it was by comission or ommision of faulty judgement.That is what goes
with the responsibility of their positions. "
