What do WGNR, RRRR, IMCL, FVCX, GBIX, DBCC have in common?
DBCC (early Dec) - stories of hiring skilled writers, etc - you don't do that if you are contracting.
IMCL -- insider selling in order for the equity milestone pmt to be made as indicated in an Oct'98 PR -- Insider selling a good thing
FVCX - hires a seasoned CFO w acq exper; buys into FVC.com , UK
WGNR -- no announcements of contracts for about a month -- hires Senior VP of Sales from Scientific Atlanta -- a month or so later a sale. Then another. Then a third.
GBIX -- hires CFO from IPC a few days after IPC's subsidiary has an IPO. Seasoned CFO has IPO experience. I wonder if that will be useful to IPO NetSatExpress, a profitable co, satellite = extra-terrestrial wireless -- George Soros, as a partner (and can you say, C O N T A C T S) sure seems like it might give GBIX a little push up
RRRR - hires a seasoned CFO yesterday. Several PRs over past few months of contracts - undoubtedly this will flow into Revs. Sands Bros analyst says it's a cross btween co's and mentions RZRF. RRRR stock did not move with rest of the i-net software group - due to selling. So why the selling if biz growing? A few guesses: (1) former co execs selling (good, they will be gone, off the board, etc as they have little to contribute to i-net sol'ns anyway). (2) accumulation -- note, the new CFO helped RRRR do a private placement with Overseas Partners Fund <-- actually that's another clue to expansion growth -- gotta believe RRRR a winner at some pt here. |
