Some investors, however, falsely believe that because third and fourth generation wireless standards will be based on CDMA, therefore Qualcomm will be the chief beneficiary. But Qualcomm's technology is narrowband CDMA while most of the world will adapt third and fourth generation technology which is wideband CDMA, a much different animal telecomtechstocks.com Not so OT Rose. Definitely a man with an agenda. He seems to be suggesting that Q's patents don't extend to WCDMA. I wouldn't qualify him as "objective" but... If I remember, IJ (at the analysts meeting) said it didn't matter what flavor of CDMA came next, ie, Q gets its royalties. I look forward to rebuttals from those more in the know... PS. Movers arrive in 1.5 hours. Am sitting on the floor. Yikes!
