charles, maybe cowtowing to the ludicrous greed of folks in the shorter term is a way to help shareholders longer term. i do think that grounding investor expectations in reality is part of his job. when a ceo thinks expectations are low and tries to raise them, da bulls pee their pants in glee. then it is his job. but, this isn't about consistency, is it?
