My 2 favs in the restaurant biz for pennies. . . are PDIM and BYBI. . .the former scored a hat trick of awards for their Mexican chains, which include a 15 year favorite of mine. . .El Torrito. . . .[I used to live across the street from El Torrito, Fridays and Bloomingdales down in Miami. . .before Andrew wiped much of it off the map.] BYBI has some great looking financials and valuation, while it continues to expand its business. Based in Memphis, this chain never ceases to surprise me in the "how many are in line when I drive by?" category. Lines at the counter and at the drive-thru. . .yet I never see a single advertisement. Rande Is
