Hi Joan: That's right and that's why all the telcos are in a slump. The technology you're talking about is already in use in the New York area on a fairly small scale and, from all reports, is a very successful wireless system than can provide radio, tv, data, internet, and telephone all in one shot. And also correct: the Bells are prohibited from bidding on it for 3 years. T investors might like to take a look at Barron's current issue; some value fund managers are buying T and ATI at current prices.
