I would like to respond one of your points. Lucent has the 2000 patents through their own research and development. This is a stronger statement than a company not being encumbered by potential patent infringements. I would contest your point that CSCO and LU are on equal footing based on legal agreements between the two. My comment in no way reflects on the ability of the two companies to actually deliver product based on these patents.
