Speculative Post

I MEAN SPECULATIVE - as in all from my head, got it?

Looking over my last post, I may have given the impression that I think 20% of NAC might be worth $10 million, or $50 million for the whole company. I did not intend that.

A few months ago, a blurb appeared on the NAC website that they were looking for $4-$8 million in 2nd round funding. Shortly thereafter, that disappeared - but it was there and others saw it too.

I came up with my number by kicking up that estimate to $5-$10 million and used the higher number. This is just a SWAG.

OK, next let's play with the 20% figure of the rumor - if this is happening, the actual number could be different as a result of negotiation.

That 20% could come:

A) All from MRVC
B) All from NAC
C) Part from both MRVC and NAC in some ratio.

Now, if the money is to be used by NAC, option A doesn't make sense to me. Also, this is a shared risk type of thing, so option B doesn't seem right either.

So perhaps option C is being negotiated - still rumor of course.
But in this option, the outside company pays both MRVC and NAC in exchange for an equity position from both. NAC gets it's funding from their equity give-up.

So it is possible a valuation of NAC could be higher.

Again, this is just speculation. Comments?
