Phil, I received the same letter. There are probably a great number of people leaving PBHG and that was probably the reason for the mass mailing.

I'll admit I was surprised that the Wall Street Journal (Friday) listed a number of PBHG funds in the "worst" year-to-date record group of all diversified funds. I knew they were having a bad year, but I didn't think they were doing that bad.

I have almost my entire IRA with PBHG, it's long term money so I'm not real worried, although I am going to cross my fingers and hope they can keep their future losses closer to market averages and continue to exceed the averages during bull runs.

If they continue with this poor performance I may have to do more than just cross my fingers. Time will tell. Good luck. - Jim

P.S. I also failed to bail out of Ascend Communications.
