This is true, unless they are vertical furnaces, which more and more of the world is converting to. You have to be able to do the smaller geometry's.

A concern might be the loss of power causing all of the furnaces, etchers and steppers to be replace, or recalibrated -- this could take time. In addition, the compromising of the podded reticules may be of some concern. The bottom line may be not what was damaged but what is left to access the damage. If they lost KLAs or defect monitor type machine, they would have nothing to say this may be good or bad. Getting a standard device could be difficult.
