I was unaware of the european popularity of TADs. I may be wrong, but
this may argue more against a patent. If the technique is widely known
(albeit non-domestic), then the "prior art" rule may apply. I was
always a little uncertain as to what could actually be protected.

Let's assume for a second, no patent. Could the combination of size,
open to competition, and large expansion plan investment, blow the wind out of ACRTs sails in the near term? Personally, I think the company is a reasonable long term investment, after some initial expansion success. It is likely more of a good trade in the near term.
The business of increasing on slight volume, sounds like MMs, which says it may be due for more of a correction in the short term.
