Well, unfortunately I think Pat Paulsen passed away in the last few years. Who knows, that could be an advantage!

Concerning the Y2K thing, my personal opinion is that a lot of people are waiting to see how it plays out before they invest a lot of money. I know you can't time the market and all of the other things they advise. But many people are afraid to do anything until after the fact.

I'm pretty conservative myself. And I want my assets to be as liquid as possible for the time being. Although it looks like there may be some good bargains coming up for people who have a higher risk tolerance than I do.

But, I'm curious, as you are about the Y2K workers. A couple of my clients are doing that. I imagine if they're that computer savvy, there will be something for them to do. we'll just have to wait and see.
