Matteo, I think you made a great purchase on MSFT options, giving yourself plenty of time in case we have some correction(s) along the way. RE: INTEL. Sentiment has turned so bearish on it. Even the analysts today just stated Intel should meet earnings expectations (from the report i saw) instead of beat them. I want to check out the short interest in Intel----If anyone has a good site with weekly updates, i would appreciate it. I am not sure but Barron's on the weekend might show the change in short interest (maybe some can confirm this). Even with the negatives popping up about earnings, Intel is getting into a stronger position as the dominant player in chips. That alone should be worth a big premium on the PE. Does anyone even buy AMDs? I decided to play the October 85s today on Intel with just a little bit of cash. Earnings are released before expiration meaning that is a possibility of a short scare just before that date. I have decided to speculate with EBAY and QCOM October calls (closer to the money)in addition to the out of the money Intels i picked up today. I also picked up the January 70 calls on Intel today giving myself plenty of time for another change in sentiment in the stock price. I feel confident that it can crack 80 in the coming months and i make money on these calls. I forgot all about MSFT as an October options play. Considering all the positive analyst comments, it might be a great candidate that i have overlooked as a short term play----looking into it in the coming week or 2.
