If this turns out to be a fud attack, not even my heavy bag will help i just kicked mine into the pool....from the garage. just received this insightful e-mail. Can I take a wild stab at all this? There is only one OEM having trouble with Rambus but that one is so big that Intel will take the gaff for them to give them a chance to fix their problem. I believe that the HWP launch is completely ligit as they have all the testing equipment that anyone would need. That leaves us with IBM, Compaq & DELL. IBM has never recently said anything. Compaq was going to release Monday but now says they will delay that announcement. That leaves DELL who mistakenly put up a configuration for Omniplex Computers. That was removed as quickly as it appeared. Dell also makes their own Motherboards. I think they are a big enough Intel customer to cause a delay that would effect all the other OEMs in order to fix their problem. If it isnt in the 820 chipset I dont think HWP has any problem . Thanks again for all the information. This whole story would make one hell of a movie. Nobody would believe it.
