I think you did a good job of interpreting the fm, pala. If you go back a few hundred (thousand?) posts to where we discussed rmbs in detail, you'll see that we decided it was probably on the far side of the chasm or at very best, in the bowling alley.

That's the exciting part! Who else do you need other than Intel for mpu's and Sony for games? Both companies have announced support for rdram, and Dell will begin using rdram for their servers as soon as they figure out how to design their mother boards.

Bingo. It's a risky period, as today demonstrated, but the returns could be staggering for the early investor if they reach their potential, just as Q's returns have been for the visionaries who bought prior to 3/25/99. But the risk/reward ration is still very high when compared to confirmed simians like qcom, msft, intc, csco, etc.

I don't agree with freeus's fatal flaw comment; this is just a <large> bump in the road. But I don't think that rmbs is a no-brainer yet, either.

I trust Sir Apollo will have a lot more to add to these comments.
