Border Capital Corp. issues settlement update

VANCOUVER, Sept. 24 /CNW/ - BORDER CAPITAL CORP.
(ASE:BOP)

Border Capital Corp. (ASE:BOP) (``Border') reports that the settlement
agreement with Dion Entertainment Corp. (TSE:DIO) and other parties,
previously reported August 6, 1999, has expired by agreement of the parties.
Border is not aware of the commencement of any arbitration proceedings by Dion
with respect to the St. Mary's Gaming Facility; however, court proceedings
regarding the facility remain outstanding as set forth in the Border Filing
Statement dated July 30, 1999. The parties are currently reviewing their
positions with respect to settlement of outstanding issues, which management
expects to be resolved upon finalizing negotiations for an alliance with a
U.S. based third party for worldwide marketing and licensing of the
BingoNet(TM) patents and related technologies.
Border will continue with the previously announced acquisition of
BingoNet, Inc. and the plan of consolidation regarding the BingoNet(TM)
patents, as detailed in its Filing Statement dated July 30, 1999
Border Capital Corp. is an interactive gaming systems company, with
unique technology, protected by U.S. and International patents and patents
pending. Border is also a joint venture partner in a licensed gaming facility
located in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
