Today was another good day. But as a typical infrequent-posting AOL long...I would not be arrogant or smug enough to think that this stock is only on its way up because of a decent rally one day. And I usually read here with fascination and amusement.

I have seen AOL do the whirly jig many times. I also do not FRET and SWEAT when it does the downhill slide either! Oh, I do ponder. And I do wonder. And I do find myself trying to guess when the turnaround will occur.
But, ultimately and fundamentally I know that I must live with the
"quirkeness" of the market place. Which includes briefcase indicators,
ballard bungles, pundits, traders, earthquakes, typhoons, sneezes, crystal balls and guys from mars!

Ultimately I will take the high road and "buy what I know" and HOLD what I know. (of course it helps to have a decent cost basis...but don't use that against me)

My prediction: At some point in the next 6 months...AOL will announce a cable deal(merger/acquisition) and a split soon thereafter. Just call it women's intuition. The same stuff that makes me an INVESTOR in AOL and not a small ball on a rubber string hitting myself on a paddle.

Now I am off to some proprietary content exploring on my AOL ISP portal.

See you at $200...unless of course the world ends in October...oops I mean Jan 1st!

Aloha,
Mary
