When I was running my motel myself, I was shocked at the number of little kids that were buying a coke the first thing in the morning to get that kick. I am talking 3 years old and up. I've even seen 'em in diapers drinking a coke. Now the deal with teens is to drink Jolt, or stronger. When my son had heart surgery, a kid joined him in his room because of a persistent rest heart rate of 200 beats per minute. They did all sorts of tests on him to find out why, and were stumped. After several days in the hospital his heart finally returned to normal. Only then did they discover that the cause was drinking about 15 Mountain Dews a day, which has a higher caffeine dose than coke. He was about 10 at the time. Del
