Dear Nadaq 777: OK, here are my brave predictions. 1. Yen no problem means more to the Japanese than to us. $$ is strong everywhere else and since Japan needs exports (cars) to us more than we need strong $$ they will handle the situation. 2. Interest rate, not likely to increase regardless of all the smoke, economy slowing down somewhat on its own, yes labor shortage in USA but this is now a worldwide economy not just USA so wont cause inflation. Even if I am wrong most would be a 1/4 pt and that would be IT as election year coming up and they never increase rates in an election year. 3. Dow down, will be forgotten within 2 weeks, the MAXIMUM memory span of analysts!! So prediction--strong finish for the year just when I have to file an INTANGIBLE TAX RETURN. Never Fails!! JDN
