I've seen this story before, and it is so thoroughly ridiculous that it isn't worth the time or trouble it would take to refute it. Whoever concocted it, and whoever spreads it, is displaying a degree of ignorance so stunning that it ought to be in a museum. Why don't you learn something about Indonesia and Timor before shooting your mouth off? You might sound like less of an idiot.
What on earth makes you think the Lippo Group gives a damn about East Timor? The Indonesian business community - Lippo very much included - wants stability, a nice psuedo-democratic facade to please the meddling westerners, a rising stock market, etc. Most of them would just as soon dump Timor, negotiate for a cut of the Timor Gap oil (not a big deal compared to other Indonesian deposits), and move on; Timor isn't worth what it costs to occupy it. The military feels differently. Street demonstrations, international sanctions, and the general upset caused by being in the International eye cost the Lippo group far more than they could ever hope to gain from East Timor.

A story is not necessarily true because it is anti-Clinton. Everybody in politics is lying to you to try to get your support; that's their job. Try using the same critical faculties on the stories you want to believe that you use on the ones you don't want to believe; you might learn something.
