Paul: Re: AMD guesswork Posted the following on Intel for Wealth board, a little anecdote re one of AMD's engineer's view of J.S. who we met during recent vacation in Europe. Restlessness growing within the ranks, not just among disgruntled shareholders?
As I said to Sonny, Pres. Ballmer of MSFT can jump in the Grand Canal of Venice. Btw, on cruise met an engineer who works for ADVANCED MICRO (AMD), booooo, hisssssssss; This guy was strange, to say the least, by consensus of ALL of our new-found friends on the ship. I asked him what Jerry Sanders was like, and he simply stated: " We try to keep his internal pep-talks down, just like the PR people try to reign him in when he spouts his line to the public". This was NOT a ringing endorsement of the CEO!<gg>

Intel in consolidation mode, Niles, 820, Taiwan-- always adds to Analysts' justification to TRADE, get their houses' sell-side boys some commissions, may be good strategy for those who have time, expertise, cahunas, luck? I look forward to the winter months for Intel's next level ( had target price of $110 by Xmas of 2000, and feel no need to rush beyond that, unlike others around here). Plenty of stocks to choose from for big gains, have had a few, even with recent haircuts. Intel just steady as she goes.
