I believe the capitulation is coming from the INVESTORS and not the SPECULATORS. What is the distinction? INVESTORS put their money in long term investments and use it for long-term growth. SPECULATORS, on the other hand, tend to favor short-term instruments like options and futures.

The real danger is, of course, that the latter activities will cause the former people to throw in the towel and get out. If that happens and no buy-the-dippers remain, look out! This market is built on BTDers' activities...
