re: intc's "hybrid" application concept. they say they're expecting these cdroms to go along with net content to handle the bandwidth problem of the net. well, i would assume that the whole exciting part of the net is that it's content that can be created/updated fast. does this mean that w/ every web site, say, if u want to update content u gotta ship out a new cdrom for every user so that they can get the new info to go along with the interactive portion of the net? this may work for data archives, for surfing on the net? this seems like a strange solution. works ok for games.... but i doubt their focus would be in this area.
