<<< By the way, I am really jealous of those walks on the beach. Makes me want to move. Nothing but flat, boring landscape in Dallas.>>>

Some times they're the only thing that keeps me sane. There aren't many problems that can't be solved by taking an hour's walk along Torrey Pines Beach. If you time it for sunset you can almost get the answers to world pollution, hunger, and the national debt. Well, you may not be able to solve them, but you can find a way to sort out what you can do and what you can't.
Any time you're in Del Mar, let me know and I'll introduce you to all the best trails. That invitation goes to anyone, with a few notable exceptions. <g>
Incidentally, I've never been to Dallas, but I once spent a week in Austin, doing research at the HRC. I visited Lyndon Johnson's ranch and fell in love with that part of the world. It felt like high desert, though I'm not sure that's what it is. In places, very similar to Eastern Washington where hills give way to hills for as far as the eye can see. Oddly enough, that's why I love Scotland, for it's wide-open treeless landscapes.
But I diverge.
Okay, looking ahead (gotta make this post official :)) Solomon Brother's telecommunications analyst will be visiting the company tomorrow, the following week JS and RC will be travelling to Boston to visit several mutual fund managers, and the week after that, they'll be getting ready for InterOp which runs from May 6 to 9 in Las Vegas.
I haven't forgotten Tac's "several releases ready to go," so as always I'm hopeful.
Cheers!
