Kyros, Intersting article. I'd love to get the entire text. One thing that I wonder is if the authors have a way of valuing future prospective earnings and future growth in emerging markets. I think that part of the reason that the winning stocks have over-performed and that "losing stocks" have under-performed can be found in investor sentiment about future opportunities and ability for a company to capitalize on those opportunities. I would propose that if this study - which I'm sure is excellent and worthwhile - doesn't integrate these issues as well then it become nothing more than an interesting datapoint of past performance and past valuations. What do you think? OG
