A rule of the thumb, Douglas. Any technology or solution that brings the next next generation networks closer, it is on CSCO cross-hairs.

Is simple: any technology or solution that short-circuits the user to the data seating in server farms and Storage Area Networks (SAN's), is high in CSCO's agenda.

Notice that CSCO has consistently acquired companies following this basic assumption?

I think CSCO is going to do something in the SAN arena soon. I would watch Equinix as well.
