Maybe that's why the walmart exec in charge of their logistics and warehouses quit? He saw things falling apart and wanted to get out while the getting was good.

Doubtful. Amazon's service is still excellent fro what I have heard. Of course with millions of orders, there will be exceptions and occasionally a customer will have trouble. I imagine that even today any email concerning service will be answered personally and courteously. Thank goodness someone sets this standard for consumers, because we all know there are many companies who can't handle, or do not understand, email communication.
