Nancy, thanks for the info but what is the source of your earnings dates? AMAT reports in May, its quarter ends in April.

About taking long positions at fair prices ... average down in a down market and average up in an up market since it is difficult to time the market and not critical for investors to find optimal entry points. A corollary for taking short positions at obviously overvalued prices ... average up in up markets.

Thanks for your nice words on my LSI strategy. First batch of puts sold at 34-35, second batch of puts sold at 32-33. Average down on good stocks. Same strategy would have worked for LU and EMC.

You posted about ranking the telecom stocks. Take your list and divide them into two groups: best reward/risk ratio and safest plays. Let that be a starting point.
