to: Steven Rogers from: truedog Steve, when you said that a conservative has to believe that "business is really business" it appeared,at first, as if you were saying that it was some sort of ogre and that you hated it because you said we " hate government". On reflection, what you said could have gone either way. I apologize for the accusation. I believe that the basic tenets of conservatism are correct for the country but, also realize that there are many people who disagree with that and have valid reasons to believe as they do. At least, in their own minds, which is where all opinions come from anyway. I also know that there are all levels of people in all viewpoints so, these kind of discussions will probably continue, ad infinitum.^ ^ ^TD
