yeah, so going back, investors pay big pe's for control data and the like, only to find out that they had the right sector, but newer kiddies knocked them off the block...

so if one pays a hefty pe, shouldn't it be for something up and coming ? this is why i think the dow stocks should trade @ higher pe's than the nas...its funny too how people say aol or something should be in the dow...maybe, but by the time it gets there its high already...how would it help an index fund holder to have an overbloated stock added ?
