Alibra is going to be interesting. I might be overly optimistic here, but this drug is undervalued by the street. I think that most doctors will be willing to recommend Alibra to their patients for the safety profile. Even though Muse is a good product, the problems with it are titration, dosing, storage, and insertion into the urethra. Alibra will solve 3 of the 4.
Taking our comparison to the next level, the advantages and disadvantages of Alibra v. Viagra would be:
Alibra advantages:
1.) Safety!
2.) Higher efficacy rate v. Viagra, and v. Muse.
3.) On demand response.
4.) Lesser side effects(?)
Alibra disadvantages:
1.) Administration - involves insertion into urethra, but greatly improved over Muse since no titration, dosing, or refrigeration.
