Anyway what is up with the recommendation of banning 'Anglo Indians'

Nobody is banning Anglo Indians, Mohan. The recommendation is to abolish the Anglo Indian quota in parliament. This quota is filled by nomination from the GoI and not through elections.

I am entirely in support of this. All members of parliament should be freely elected. By the same token I am also against reservation of seats in the parliament for any particular section such as SC/ST's or women.

And I say this as a person who does support reservations in government provided education and government jobs.
