Haim,

Remember, my ratio developed from over 30 years of trading is the Open Interest figures NOT the volume or price! And the figures are cross option "types." That is: the ratio of EQUITY calls (remember - open interest) to the INDEX puts (open interest).

The figures you are referring to sound like volume figures...

And my ratio is an intermediate one... usually doesn't have any meaning for 2-3 weeks or so.

So your comments may apply for the very short term, but reading my Web page, you will see I am focused on the middle to end of October. (Nothing ever happens THERE??? Right???)

The only other thing that would concern me is if we were to have a spike in the electric utility volume in the next week or so...
