Marc: I get the impression that Brinker's limited commentary on the market has to do with the limited visibility in the market. There are so many variables floating around out there that it seems pointless to discuss scenarios. He said the NASDAQ 100, for example, could fall further (maybe even a panic sell off) yet he was struck by its relative strength in the correction thus far. (I was struck by the internet relative strength last week). He said earnings disappointments could propel the NASDAQ 100 lower if they were to happen. But I can think of various bullish and bearish scenarios but there seems to be little use in discussing them at this point because there is very little visibility for assessing the probability of any. I guess we have to let the market deal with it all and react accordingly.
