Joan, other Techriders that use or surf AOL PF to see what the Sheepeople are being fed. Last night AOL PF had a poll of users that asked if techs were over priced. I like to look at these Sheepeople polls as they are your average AOL user who follows stocks or markets to even see the poll. If someone takes the time to fill one of these polls, then they must feel strongly about the subject (or they would blow it off).
The results are in and from the poll this is my read on things. Planets alined and Sheepeople are being lead to slaughter. First, most people don't think like Steve Ballmer, most people think some tech stocks are over valued but this can be said at any given moment in history. Steve Ballmer's OPINION is not shared.
Who knows why he said what he did, perhaps to keep a stock down before spin offs, perhaps to hurt smaller companies who are gaining revs in this market, perhaps because he is a jack a$$, a rich guy with a big mouth and a short supply on facts but the fact is most people believe Steve is wrong. Many of us feel no matter what his reason was he is a lose canon. One has to wonder how long any other employee would be around after such a public display of making a fool of oneself and one's company.
I think we are seeing some market manipulation and the press is as big a part of it as the manipulators. The market tanks and Bob. P of CNBC gets hyped and tells of what he is being fed from the people who manipulate the market. What a joke.
