Today's Best Buy ad from the Sunday Tribune lists 9 Yellow tag feature prices for desktop PC packages: AMD 650 $2650 AMD 600 $2250 INTC 550 $1970 AMD 550 $1950 AMD 500 $1550 INTC 500 $1450 AMD 450 $1100 INTC 450 $1030 INTC 366 $750 If this continues, INTC will have to share the top end of the market, where all profits are made, with AMD. And this would, indeed, affect the value of INTC in two years and five years. I've removed all the rebates from these prices - this is what you pay to get these things out the door.
