Well, I'm now perched in NZRO and will hang around for a bit, hopefully making enough money to leave a good portion of shares behind for a long-term hold.

I think the NZRO vs. AOL, et. al., is gonna be one of the all-time great Internet battles. Perhaps even the greatest! It makes Microsoft and American Online strange bedfellows indeed.

Seems folks everywhere are now downloading and trying NetZero--we'll see some interesting statistics come out once Setpember and October have concluded. My bet is the paid ISP subscriber base (AOL) will be way down and the free ISP subscriber base (NZRO) will be way up. The question is will the Try and Buy turn into Try the Service--Buy the Stock? Hoping it will.

Any guess on how NZRO will trade throughout its quiet period? Seems like it's the kind of company that has the potential to deliver a lot of blockbuster-type news announcements, particularly since its now front and center in the field of its battlezone. If you've got extra dough, it might make sense to pick up some NZRO shares just to be involved in this one--you know, good seats cost money! (LOL)
