Bosco, It seems to me that if you buy cscc as opposed to asnd, if shares of Ascend go up (following Thursday's earnings report, if favorable.) that Cascade should rise at a higher rate of return per investment dollar. Assume that you buy 100 shares of asnd @ $45 and 100 shares of cscc @ $30. Assume again that asnd closes @ $60 following earnings announcement (I know that this a lot to assume). At 70% of Ascend's closing price, cscc would be valued at $42 per share or $40 if you discount the merger possibly falling through. Ascend would have risen 33.3%, and Cascade would have risen approx. 40%. Dollar for dollar Cascade seems like the play should Ascend announce strong earnings. Just brainstorming a bit. I am long on Cascade, and might buy more. Any feedback? KC
