Hi Michael: Got the picture ''' I thimk ! your doing like I do some
longs, buy so much; sell (o o) half on a run up, then buy that 1/2
back on a dip, and reduce-ooO-( )-Ooo- my cost, got one I'm accumulating..
started with 1000 sold 500..bought back 700 sold 600,
now have 600 but much cheaper than when I went in..and will buy
more of it if she retraces another 1/2..but it's a much cheaper stock than AOL..it's been fairly well beat down already VUPDA..I'm in it
at 4-1/8 and don't look to get hurt.
My general thought on a long is sell 1/2 on any quick run up..I let
the market set the price..and use Moving average..rule of thumb is
20% over the 50 day..or 35% over the 100 day..or 70 % over the
200 day..so the sell price floats with the MA..to not take some
profits at thoes points and wait for a retrace is kind nutso IMHO.
Bulls make money, Bears make money..but Hogs, and Chickens get
slaughterd..the market feeds on Greed, and Fear..
Take care
Jim
