I'm fairly sure the answer is no. The command in Downloader is Convert. I just went over there and I saw no such option. Just convert? (yes), symbol change?(no) and then it overwrote the original meta file. I guess maybe with macros you could save the old and the new in a different name and then "merge". Huh? But it would be a lot of bother to do it manually all the time.
