Simply put, ultra conservatives like me believe in the things that this country was founded on, individualism, freedoms of choice(I'm not referring to killing unborn babies), the preservation of liberty, the protection of our rights as laid down by our forefathers and written in the form of our constitution.

Furthermore, someone recently argued that the Dems support public schools because they get cash from teacher's unions. Using that logic, what is the point of helping illegal immigrants and the poor?

Im not exactly sure what your question is but I'll take a stab at it;

No one is against public schools Akula, as a conservative I am against my being forced to send my child to a public school. Guess what?...poor people are forced to send their kids to a public school. School vouchers would fix this inequity.

I am not forced to and have chosen a higher quality education for my children because I can afford it, plus I still pay the same amount of money via taxes as well just as if I were sending them to a public school.

i.e. I am not consuming public resources but I am being forced to pay for them. I am paying because I don't have a choice.......my freedom to choose has been taken away by the liberals who support a strong arm government.

Are the Democrats motivated by greed or do they have a skewed morality that they act upon

The democratic party is mainly made up of many groups of social misfits which have banded together as the party. They are motivated by greed and the power to control other people's money for their own gains.
