Toronto Launches Canadian Debut of Titanic

News October 24, 10:21 Eastern Time

TORONTO, Sep 24, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- SFX Entertainment Inc. and
RMS Titanic Inc. celebrated today the official opening of TITANIC: The
Exhibition, the world's largest exhibit of authentic artifacts which
will be presented exclusively at Toronto's Exhibition Place in the
Better Living Centre.

The Exhibition will be presented for a limited engagement from Sept.
24, 1999 to Feb. 10, 2000.

Through the efforts of RMS Titanic, the exclusive executors of the
wreck, approximately 5,000 artifacts have been recovered from the
Titanic site. Today, the Canadian public had their first glance at
objects from the ship that passengers likely used, touched or saw
during the ill-fated voyage.

"The artifacts are literal links with the past," said George Tulloch,
president, RMS Titanic. "Each item is literally frozen in time, having
borne witness to the events that took place when the great ship sank."

At the centre of the exhibition, the public has the rare opportunity to
experience Titanic as if they were part of the expedition team. The
exhibition includes both an 18 foot-long model of the Titanic prior to
its maiden voyage and a 30 foot-long model of the Titanic wreck as it
sits at the bottom of the ocean.

Throughout this exhibition, Titanic's artifacts are interspersed with
multimedia displays that place them as they would have been seen and
used by those aboard the Titanic. The exhibition features over 200
artifacts including Passageway Lamp, Gilded Chandelier, Leather Travel
Bag, Life Jacket and the Bronze Cherub from the ship's grand staircase.

A special feature of the Toronto exhibition is the Ice Wall -- a frozen
wall of ice enabling visitors to have a sensory experience of how cold
the water was on Titanic's fateful night. It was 2:20 a.m. on April 15,
1912 that the Titanic began its long descent to the bottom of the
Atlantic.

TITANIC: The Exhibition hours will be daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. EST
(last entry). Tickets, not including tax, are $19.95 for adults, $14.95
for seniors (65 years and older) and children 6-11 years (5 years and
under are free with an adult.) Tickets are available from Ticketmaster
at 416/870-8000 or online at www.Ticketmaster.com. For group
information, call 416/597-0965; discounts are available for groups of
15 or more.

The exhibition is presented by SFX Entertainment and RMS Titanic. SFX
Entertainment is one of the premier entertainment companies in the
world.

RMS Titanic was granted salvor-in-possession rights to the wreck of the
Titanic by the United States Federal Court order in 1994, reconfirmed
again in 1996.
