Thanks Osprey, Koanhead for the thoughts re: VEN-T The questions I have circling around in my head are these.

1) Could this just be a price-of-gold response? Personally, I don't think so. Gold is really just starting to move upwards, and there's a lot more reasons why it won't move higher than why it will. If someone was just looking for p.o.g. plays, there's a lot more safe ways to do it than on this one.

2) Why does D.S. want so much? Over +1.5 million shares in 3 days?? (+100k bought the first day, +500k more bought the 2nd day, and +1M more bought the 3rd day) To me that's a hell of a lot of shares to take in a p.o.s.,....unless somehow it isn't. And why the rush? They certainly could have accumulated these shares over a longer period of time. The shareprice has been almost static for months now. Why bring attention in as a factor when they could have easily taken that many shares and/or more?

3) The buying over the past 3 days by PI 290,000 shares has a "chance" of being retail...although I question it. The buying through CT of over 450,000 shares over the same three days...I don't think that could be retail. It's not that it's necessarily a lot of money...but it is a hell of a big position if they're not right. Now DS with over 1.5 million over the 3 days....definitely not retail. Again, why the rush?

4) Is the volume on VENGF, at 2.2 million shares on Friday, just sympathetic buying, or arbitrage playing....or what?

5) If DS wants that many shares, and Goepel is willing to sell them (as they have been for a couple of months now) why not just arrange a cross?) Seeing DS buying the way they are...in the market...seems intriguing but strange.

We'll see what this week brings. At any rate, it is certainly interesting to watch.

Regards,

Kevin
