Vandek, could you give us the name of the local paper or the wire service that generated the story? Also, why would Bob Hasan's frantic buying of Bre-X inspire confidence in investors of Indonesian plays? The way I interpret his activity if it is indeed true, is that he is taking advantage of some gigantic stock manipulation orchestrated by someone wishing to gain control of Bre-X's interest in the Busang. Could it be Big Bob? Whomever it may be, it seems that murder is within the capacity of the perpetrator.
Are you saying that Bob Hasan will come along and buy up Coleville stock, or that confidence will return to the average investor and he will bid up the shares of Coleville? I really don't get your point.
Personally, I think the exchanges should reverse all trades starting with the first minute the bad news crossed the wires alleging Freeport's claim of inconsistent drill results. The stock whould then be suspended from trading until the truth is known. If Canadians (Bre-X), Americans (FCX), and/or Indonesians are found guilty of some hanky-panky, then our regulatory agencies have an obligation to the citizenry of the world to sort things out, determine who is to blame and restore some sense of order. Where suspected, individuals should be charged with crimes and proven guilty or innocent by courts of law insofar as this is possible.
Vandek, I am really interested in your reasons for stating why any of this can be construed as having positive implications for CLL's share price. (Thank God that Antares has other things going for it.) Is Bob Hasan going to gobble up CLL/ANZ shares before reserves are proved up?
All I can say is that I hope Antares, the operator in the Ojolali, services and flies their own helicopters.
Don
(No ANZ over CLL hype intended here..just saying it the way I see it.) |
