Additionally - ask what is "Real-Time".
1 millisecond, 1 second, 10 seconds, 5 minutes. Seems like the importance of real-time goes up when market activity picks-up - when this happens the Internet gets over used, kind of like everyone making a phone call to California during an earthquake and many many resulting incomplete calls.

The term "real-time" is abused, kind of like everything is "On-Sale"

Ask your quote provider what the data delivery time during a market crash is through YOUR ISP. Bet you get the run around. They will not assume liability problems associated with your ISP. Regardless who's fault it is, it is a problem associated with instant data supplied through the internet during a crisis or peak-loading.

Bottom line - you get what you pay for / there is no "free-lunch". Its your money. Satellite broadcasted data has its advantages.
