I wonder if that guy bought some of my shares between 90 to 95. I still remember the day vividly - coming out of a meeting, my secretary handed me 3 urgent messages from my contact at Bear Stearns, informing me that The Globe would open in the mid 90s and nearly everyone, including the lead underwriter, the mighty Bear Stearns, was going to dump at the open and start shorting. I called her right back, thanking her and authorizing her to dump all my IPO shares at the open, the quicker the better. If she could find shares to short, I would take any amount.

A cautionary tale about the potential danger of entering market orders to buy an IPO at the open. Similar fate happened to MPPP as well; history always find an eccentric way to repeat itself.
