Pray, tell, how does Cisco manage to control whisper numbers? I am heartened by the concern expressed over the whisper numbers creating too much expectation. We've been through a lot recently, as y'all know with the "won't surprise" report but will beat. I bet a lot of you have owned growth companies like the Q who are having fabulous earnings growth quarter to quarter but get pummelled in the market because "earnings was a penny shy of the whisper" and so supposedly "disappointed."
