There's a catch-22 with the yen. The yen rose because of optimism about the recovery of the Japanese economy. On one hand, they're reflating the economy and on the other hand, trying to keep the yen in check. It doesn't make much sense. (Everyone knows the real problem is that the Americans spend too much.) Wasn't the BKX also at its midpoint from last October's low to the recent highs? (You probably have more time for this forum now that Waco is about three-fourths swept under the carpet.)
